Jordan M. Garcia focuses his practice on complex divorce and custody cases, post-decree disputes, and real estate and asset distribution issues incident to divorce. He began his legal career working for the Honorable Judge Douglas Smith in Department Eight of the Eighth Judicial District. He then worked for the Honorable Judge Cynthia Giuliani in the Family Courts and as a law clerk for the Office of the General Council at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Jordan is a trained mediator who has conducted mediations at the Clark County Neighborhood Justice Center and the family court mediation program.
Before Jordan entered the legal field, he worked as a department manager in the Information Technology industry, ensuring operations and customer satisfaction were exemplary. Â While there, he managed a department of twenty full-time employees and numerous contractors throughout the country.
Jordan is originally from the Midwest and moved to Las Vegas in 1990. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2000. He completed his Master’s in Business Administration in 2002 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a focus on finance and information technology. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2011.
